About Aurora American Sign Language Therapy

Our Journey

Founded in 2017, Aurora American Sign Language Therapy (AASL Therapy) was born out of a passion to bridge the communication gap between hearing and deaf communities. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful vision: to make American Sign Language (ASL) therapy accessible and understandable to all. Since our inception, we’ve grown from a small initiative into a thriving online resource hub dedicated to promoting ASL awareness and providing accurate, unbiased information.

Mission and Core Values

Our mission is to empower individuals and communities through education, advocacy, and accessibility related to American Sign Language therapy. We strive to:

  • Fill the digital void by offering comprehensive and reliable ASL resources.
  • Foster understanding and appreciation for the deaf culture and community.
  • Facilitate open communication between hearing and deaf individuals.

Core values that guide our work include integrity, respect, accessibility, and continuous learning. We believe in delivering content with transparency, ensuring every piece of information is meticulously researched and verified.

Addressing an Information Gap

The internet, while a vast resource, often lacks accurate and up-to-date information regarding ASL therapy. Many websites either provide superficial insights or are biased, leading to misinformation. Recognizing this gap, we set out to create a platform that offers unbiased, scientifically sound resources, ensuring individuals seeking ASL therapy or related knowledge can do so with confidence.

Unbiased Information and Accuracy

At AASL Therapy, we take pride in our commitment to providing reliable information. Our content is carefully curated by a team of experts, including professional ASL therapists and researchers. We follow rigorous fact-checking procedures to ensure every article, guide, and video tutorial adheres to the highest standards of accuracy. By staying current with the latest research and industry developments, we aim to offer valuable insights that make a tangible difference in the lives of our readers.

Target Audience and Engagement

Our target audience includes individuals interested in ASL learning, therapists seeking resources for their practice, educators looking for teaching materials, and members of the deaf community. We cater to a wide range of audiences by offering content tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners.

Engagement is at the heart of our community. Readers are encouraged to:

  • Leave comments and feedback on articles to share their experiences.
  • Contribute guest posts or suggest topics for future content.
